RIP Jani
The 2004 Calypso Queen Saint Lucian Jany Williams died on Sunday morning in a car crash. Four other persons of her band Caribbean Vizion,who were in the same vehicle were reported to be in critical condition at the hospital.
Band leader Kurt Allen’s ten-year-old daughter Chocolate and one of the other occupants of the car were released from the hospital with only scratches and bruises.
Jani was singing the well-known tune "Saltwater (Dip Dip Dip in the Salt)".

if i can remember very well, being my history teacher at the vieux fort comprehensive secondary school,form two,Jani Williams was a very lively, interesting, fun to be around, beautiful young lady.i was deeply saddened by the the horrific news of her death and still haven't taken it in entirely. what we can say now is that she lived her life in a wonderful, very constructive and successful way and we should all remember her that way and not through the horrible car crash from which she lost her life. your soul is well rested Jani.
