New post-carnival Riddims

Usually most soca productions are released near a carnival. This year we have to nice riddims which came shortly after this years Trinidad season:
Mystic Riddim is a nice slowtempo soca riddim with steel drums. Best tunes are "Soca" by Mr. Slaughter and Nicky Cordner's "Only you".
Remember Elephant Man's "Bun Badmin", which was the most played tune of Notting Hill Carnival 2004? This riddim came out on several labels over the years. Now there's a soca version: Soca Tabernacle. Featured artists are Bunji Garlin ("Wave something"), Wanski, Fayann and more.

Caribbean Warriors

The German soccer magazine Kicker writes about the Soca Warriors and Trinidad & Tobago. Funny thing about this is the translation of "Soca Warriors": Fußball Krieger (soccer warriors).. Kicker might know a lot about football, but they lack the basics in music. :D

For the mental support Ronnie Macintosh did the tune "Deutschland" (means Germany where the World Championship is held). Now there's an official answer version from Germany by the MashUp Crew feat. Volkanik:"Soca Warriors (Who de stars?)". Part of the lyrics are in German.
And there's another Soca Warriors tune by comedian and actor Nigel ‘Frame’ Fabien, produced by JaQuzzi: "Time fuh Germany".
