Alison quits Square One
After 17 years out front with Square One, Alison Hinds-Walcott is taking her leave due to family commitments. The final appearance will be held at The Boatyard on December 27 in Barbados.

It is clear that Alision's decision was influenced by the level of winin' that exist in the soca industry. Artist such as Denise Belfont, Fay-Ann Lyons and Destra Garcia are a few revolutionary winers that come to mind. Mrs. Hinds-Walcott will always be my sentimental favorite. I only hope she uses her time away to sharpen her skills. All the best to Square One in her adsence.
