One of the most influential calypso/soca singer, Slinger Francisco aka The Mighty Sparrow, celebrates today his 69th birthday and a 50 years career. The outstanding artists recorded over 70 albums and still counting. His first big success was the 1956 roadmarch "Jean and Dinnah".
